Panasonic KXTD 1232
The KXTD 1232E is the largest
platform in the KXTD range. It has all the same features and add on modules
available to it as the KXTD816E but on a far grander scale. As with the KXTD816,
the 1232 offers the same gradual expansion, but the scope for this is greater.
The system comes initially configured for 32 extensions (16 digital and
16 analogue) and can be expanded ultimately to 128 extensions (64 digital
and 64 analogue).
Due to the size of company the KXTD1232 attracts, ISDN30 becomes far more
of a likely requirement. If you do opt for connecting ISDN30 onto the system,
you can now have up to 30 channels for your incoming and outgoing service,
and again, full DDI functionality is available via the network provider.
As with the KXTD816, the 1232 provides an RS232 port for the connection
of an external call logging system. These systems can collect call traffic
records from the KXTD platform, and then build reports to show incoming and
outgoing call information on lines and extension users. This can be very
useful information for budgeting purposes as companies start to expand.
